Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a DMS2 Database Administrator. The ideal candidate embodies technical prowess in Unisys Mainframe Environment, coupled with a fervent commitment to making every piece of data matter. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize DMS2 (Database Management System) on the Unisys mainframe environment.
• Ensure database performance, integrity, and security by applying best practices for database administration.
• Develop and maintain database models, schemas, and backup strategies within the Unisys system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues and provide resolution for data management challenges.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to implement database-driven solutions within legacy applications.
• Document database configurations, changes, and updates as part of ongoing maintenance and improvements.

Requirements for the role 

• Strong experience in DMS2 (Database Management System) administration in a Unisys mainframe environment.
• Experience with Unisys database management, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of database performance tuning and security best practices.
• Knowledge of database backup, restore, and recovery procedures in a mainframe context.
• French/Dutch is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal or Belgium.
• Availability to travel.
