Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for an experienced IT Change Coordinator to oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of IT service changes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that changes are effectively managed, documented, and executed with minimal risk to the live IT environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, methodical, and experienced in ITIL-based change management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate schedules and time estimates for IT service changes
• Implement routine IT service changes in live environments
• Analyse risks, costs, and benefits of proposed IT changes
• Provide regular status reports on implemented changes to senior management
• Document procedures and changes related to IT services
• Develop, document, and implement changes based on RFCs (Requests for Change)
• Apply change control procedures and tools
• Manage and report on change requests using established processes
• Assist in defining, documenting, and managing IT requirements
• Use standard techniques to specify and baseline requirements
• Support the application and investigation of authorised changes
• Perform basic risk management activities
• Maintain records of risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation actions

Requirements for the role 

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in managing IT change requests, including stakeholder engagement from initiation to closure
• ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification (mandatory)
• Strong organisational and documentation skills
• Familiarity with change control tools and ticketing systems
• Basic understanding of risk management principles
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
