Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer to join our Governance Services product line, contributing to the development of ComplyLog and other regulatory technology solutions for issuers and advisors. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to help deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

This position is Hybrid in Porto.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and business requirements into functional applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Build and deploy microservices within cloud environments (AWS or Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to align development with business objectives and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical leadership, and contribute to feature and architectural design discussions.
• Implement security best practices, particularly in API development and data privacy compliance.
• Proactively resolve technical issues, bugs, and bottlenecks; ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Maintain and promote robust documentation practices for knowledge sharing, onboarding, and operational efficiency.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Support DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipeline maintenance, Gitflow, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated deployments.
• Prioritise and facilitate the early resolution of client issues in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Requirements for the role 

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies.
• Expert-level proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
• Proven experience working with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and/or Azure
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and software design patterns
• Practical experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid knowledge of API security best practices and data privacy compliance
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including: CI/CD pipelines; Gitflow and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with Entity Framework or EF Core
• Frontend development experience with React.js or Angular
• Experience in Node.js development
• Familiarity with iOS and/or Android mobile development is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
