Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a highly experienced Communications and Information Systems (CIS) Consultant to support the Team in developing concepts for minimum levels of Command and Control (C2) service capabilities in NATO-led missions. The role focuses on refining the existing draft by incorporating technical, operational, and governance inputs under an Agile sprint-based approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Refine the draft concept for minimum C2 service capabilities with inputs from FMN (Spirals 4–6), operational concepts, and CIS best practices
• Integrate relevant inputs from NCIA and NCISG operations related to mission networks and services
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, execution, review, and reporting cycles
• Define Sprint goals, deliverables, KPIs, and quality criteria in coordination with the NCI Agency
• Ensure high-quality outputs through continuous feedback, stakeholder engagement, and performance tracking
• Submit regular progress reports and contribute to Delivery Acceptance Sheets for milestone payments
• Maintain alignment with client interoperability and security standards

Requirements for the role 

• Minimum 8 years of experience in CIS engineering, design, and architecture
• Deep knowledge of communication systems, network infrastructure, virtualisation, cloud, security, and interoperability
• Expertise in enterprise and capability architecture
• Familiarity with Service Management and Control (SMC) frameworks and implementations
• Knowledge of international/commercial CIS standards
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese citizen

• Desirable:
• Experience with military and/or deployable CIS systems
• Familiarity with ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, or other service/project management frameworks
• Previous experience in international/multinational environments
