Job Summary
Keyrus is looking for an experienced ELK Stack Engineer to support the development and expansion of our centralised log monitoring platform, Logboard. As we onboard additional internal products and entities, you will play a key role in enhancing our observability capabilities.
You’ll work in a cloud-native environment (Azure), using tools like Terraform, Puppet, and Git to configure, deploy, and maintain ELK components. Your expertise will help shape our log ingestion strategy, platform automation, and implementation of monitoring best practices, including OpenTelemetry integration.
This position is Hybrid in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, configure, and administer the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Design and implement log ingestion pipelines using Logstash and Filebeat.
- Develop scripts for automated onboarding and indexation.
- Ensure efficient and scalable log storage and indexing in Elasticsearch.
- Create dashboards and alerting rules in Kibana to support observability.
- Collaborate on studies and recommendations for end-to-end monitoring solutions.
- Integrate OpenTelemetry for enhanced telemetry and trace data.
- Support deployments and infrastructure configuration using Terraform and Puppet.
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver task breakdowns and development estimates.
Requirements for the role
- Proven expertise in ELK Stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
- Strong experience with log pipeline development and real-world ELK operations.
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of Terraform, Puppet, and Git for deployment and configuration.
- Experience with Filebeat and log shipping.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices.
- Comfortable working in Linux-based environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to support cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English
- Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
