Job Summary 

We are looking for a Technical Data Product Owner to act as the bridge between business needs and data engineering teams. This role requires a unique combination of product ownership skills and strong technical expertise in Python and SQL.

This position is Hybrid in Lisbon

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and prioritise requirements for data projects.
• Coordinate with teams to estimate effort, costs, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor project performance and ensure value delivery.
• Write and review scripts, perform analysis, and validate data models.
• Support the adoption of modern data stack tools such as dbt and GitLab.

Requirements for the role 

• Experience as a Product Owner or Data Project Lead.
• Strong technical background in Python and SQL (senior level).
• Knowledge of dbt (Data Build Tool) and GitLab is a strong plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities.
• Portuguese Advanced
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
