Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for an Cloud FinOps Consultant to support FinOps initiatives within  Central FinOps team. This role will involve delivering consulting and governance services related to cloud financial management for product families and business units. The successful candidate will drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation efforts while collaborating with technical and product teams.

This position is Hybrid/on-site in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage cloud financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation
• Define and implement financial policies and controls specific to cloud operations
• Monitor and report on cloud usage, costs, and performance metrics
• Work closely with product and technical teams to optimise cloud usage without compromising performance or reliability
• Design and implement a comprehensive FinOps framework for multi-domain governance
• Promote and share cloud financial best practices across the department
• Ensure effective decision-making processes, innovation alignment, and efficient cloud resource utilisation

Requirements for the role 

• Strong hands-on experience in cloud operations and cloud financial management
• Proven ability to manage and analyse cloud data (technical and financial)
• Deep understanding of cloud-based architectures and application design
• Experience with cloud cost management tools, budgeting, and forecasting systems
• Proficiency in IT asset management or cost accounting is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot operational cloud issues
• AWS Certification and Azure Certification are a plus.
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
