Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for an ICT System Architect – Integration & Cloud Solutions to design and support the implementation of integration-focused, cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in guiding solution design, aligning technology decisions with best practices, and ensuring successful system integration across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update designs for ICT solutions based on the domain and scope of the delivery stream.
• Conduct market research and/or proof of concept activities to validate solution designs and identify appropriate technologies and products.
• Collaborate with ICT Engineering and Operations teams to ensure proper implementation of approved designs, offering guidance and resolving open issues during the process.
• Contribute expertise in integration and cloud technologies to steer projects toward successful completion.

Requirements for the role 

• More than 6 years of experience in ICT solution design, particularly in integration and microservices architecture.
• At least 3 years of experience with cloud-native technologies such as microservices, REST APIs, and message queues.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing solutions based on cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Participation in a minimum of 3 system integration projects.
• Solid knowledge of interoperability technologies (e.g., REST APIs, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented applications).
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, both on-premises and in cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with solution design best practices, including:
• Creation of self-explanatory documentation and diagrams
• Ability to present architecture decisions and guidelines to various audiences
• Working independently in a multicultural, self-managed team
• Good understanding of security and access management best practices when designing cloud-native solutions.
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
