Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Data Engineer. The ideal candidate embodies technical prowess in creating data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, coupled with a fervent commitment to making every piece of data matter. We value individuals who are detail-oriented, independent contributors with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring that together, we continue to transform possibilities into reality. 

As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and systems on Microsoft Fabric to support analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance, enabling business teams to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows using Fabric components such as Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, and Synapse Data Warehouse
• Optimize and monitor data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational policies
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure accurate and reliable datasets
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for data workflows and architecture
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to support data-driven projects

Requirements for the role 

• At least +3 years as a Data Engineer
• Strong experience in building data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric or similar tools
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, or equivalent technologies
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and best practices for data integration
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure
• Understanding of data modelling techniques and database design principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Fluency in French, German or Luxembourgish it's a plus
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen OR have a work permit for Portugal
