🎯 The Role
As a Use Case Lead – PLM Transformation Programme, you will join a large-scale PLM transformation programme in the industrial sector (turbine manufacturing). As a Use Case Lead, you will act as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and successfully delivered across key capability areas within the PLM ecosystem.
This is a highly cross-functional role with strong exposure to engineering, operations, and quality teams.
📍 Job location: Sweden (Remote, with monthly travel) Weekly hybrid presence in Sweden is a strong plus.
🕒 Contract type: Permanent
🗓 Target start date: ASAP
⏰ Working hours: Full-time (40h/week)
💵 Compensation: Aligned with experience and market context

💥 Your Impact
In this role, you will:
Lead business requirement gathering and translate needs into clear User Stories and Functional Specifications
Own and manage the use case backlog, aligning business priorities with delivery planning
Act as a business proxy, ensuring continuity where internal resources are limited
Coordinate with SMEs, Solution Architects, and stakeholders across multiple domains
Identify gaps between current processes and target solutions, and drive alignment
Support solution design discussions, ensuring business needs are fully reflected
Contribute to testing, validation, and UAT cycles
Ensure successful adoption and business readiness (show & tell sessions, training inputs)
Identify and support data migration and integration requirements where relevant

👤 What We’re Looking For
Must-haves
8+ years of experience in roles such as:
Product Owner
Functional Lead
Senior Business Analyst
Proven experience in large-scale transformation programmes (PLM, ERP, or similar)
Strong background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
Solid experience managing:
User Stories
Backlogs
Agile delivery processes
Hands-on experience with Jira and/or Confluence
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
Fluency in English
Must be a Portuguese or European citizen, or hold a valid work permit for Portugal or Sweden
Nice-to-haves
Experience with PLM systems, ideally Teamcenter
Exposure to engineering processes and digital thread concepts
Experience in cross-functional and international environments
Familiarity with data migration, integration, and validation processes
Consulting background
Profile
Self-driven, able to operate independently in complex environments
Strong communication and coordination skills
Pragmatic mindset, focused on delivery and business impact
Comfortable working across business and IT teams
