Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Senior Data Analytics Consultant. The ideal candidate embodies technical prowess in identifying business needs and translating them into scalable solutions, committing to making every piece of data matter. A solid understanding of corporate governance principles within the banking industry is also going to help you in this role.

This position is Hybrid in Lisbon or in Porto.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify business use cases, lead workshops, and design scalable solutions to support innovation and efficiency

• Facilitate collaboration and communication among project stakeholders to understand operational and strategic needs

• Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and a realistic, agreed-upon roadmap

• Design and deliver data analyses, ranging from ad-hoc analyses to full data pipelines using ETL tools, SQL, and/or Python

• Promote a data-driven culture within CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking)

• Track and report on project progress using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  

Requirements for the role 

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data and Analytics

• Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Jira

• Full proficiency in the MS Office suite

• Hands-on experience with SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data across relational databases

• Previous contact with Python and ETL tools

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams

• High level of precision and attention to detail

• Ability to distil complex information into clear, concise messages for senior stakeholders

• Previous experience with change management

• Solid understanding of corporate governance standards and best practices within the banking sector is a nice to have

• Fluent in English

• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
