Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee complex, strategic technology initiatives from initiation to completion. This role is part of the leadership structure within the Program Management team, driving new processes, methodologies, and ways of working tailored to the needs of a global, multi-project environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, international project delivery, and executive communication and can thrive in fast-paced, multicultural contexts.

This position is Hybrid in Porto - 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale IT projects within multi-program, international environments.
• Engage effectively with programme sponsors, stakeholders, and business programme managers.
• Prepare and drive critical meetings (steering committees, escalation, programme management) with a focus on IT-related topics.
• Anticipate issues, blockers, and risks in the project’s critical path; collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to resolve them.
• Document complex assumptions, risks, dependencies, and commitments in a clear and structured way.
• Support the adoption and improvement of program management methodologies and processes.

Requirements for the role 

• Proven track record in delivering complex, high-challenge IT projects in multi-project environments.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
• Experience working across multicultural environments and coordinating teams across countries and time zones.
• Strong adaptability in environments with shifting priorities.
• Certifications in Agile or Waterfall methodologies (Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal), with the ability to convey technical and business concepts unambiguously.
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
