Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience in the Enterprise Intelligence domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SQL, Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI, and a solid understanding of end-to-end BI data flows. 

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimising data models and pipelines, while ensuring high standards in data quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT and Snowflake.
• Design and implement robust data models for Data Warehouses and Data Lakes.
• Create compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI and other reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, BO Web Intelligence).
• Ensure smooth daily data refresh cycles, monitor data quality, and perform regular data audits.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data insights.
• Optimise SQL queries for performance and scalability across platforms like Oracle, MS SQL, and DB2.
• Contribute to the setup and governance of data platforms, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Atlan Data Catalogue.

Requirements for the role 

• +4 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
• Proficient in SQL and experienced with databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, DB2.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with data platform tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, ADLS, and data cataloguing tools like Atlan.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end BI workflows, including data refresh, data monitoring, cleansing, and performance tuning.
• Experience working in an international and cross-functional team environment.
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
