Job Summary 

We’re looking for a seasoned data professional to join our team as a Senior Data Solutions Analyst. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions, with a strong focus on data delivery across the reinsurance domain. 

You’ll help design and implement modern, scalable data solutions using platforms such as Snowflake.

This position is Hybrid in Dublin - Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, working with stakeholders across reinsurance and actuarial teams.
• Data Architecture & Modeling
• Partner with data engineers to design efficient and scalable data models and pipelines that ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance.
• Support the end-to-end process: design, development, and deployment of data-driven solutions such as ETL processes, data marts, and reporting dashboards.
• Develop strong relationships with business users, translating technical details into actionable insights and business-friendly language.
• Data Troubleshooting & Optimisation
• Identify and resolve data-related issues using advanced SQL and analytical techniques. Ensure data integrity and support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements for the role 

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data modelling, and solution delivery
• Strong understanding of reinsurance operations and data domains
• Prior experience working with actuarial teams or actuarial data
• Proficiency in SQL and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Business Objects)
• Experience with data warehousing and lakehouse architecture
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration concepts
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English
• Must be a  European citizen or have a work permit for DUBLIN

Preferred:

Experience with modern cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake and/or Data Virtuality

Exposure to data governance and metadata management

Background in actuarial science or reinsurance underwriting/claims analytics
