Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Mulesoft Developer to join the API Management product operations team. You will focus on server maintenance, software administration, and the delivery of stable and secure API management solutions. We value individuals who are detail-oriented, independent contributors with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring that together, we continue to transform possibilities into reality.

This is a full remote position based in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and analyze critical issues, plan and implement recovery
• Manage SSL configuration and general planning activities
• Perform technical support and server administration across environments
• Apply and manage OS patches in compliance with internal standards
• Monitor system logs and proactively address potential issues
• Translate business requirements into development tasks
• Design, build, test, and deploy project deliverables
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Support testing phases and manage defect resolution processes
• Collaborate with offshore teams providing tier-3 support
• Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, simplified manner.

Requirements for the role 

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Mulesoft platform management
• Experience with Mulesoft FlexGateway and Mulesoft ACM
• Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth, OpenID)
• Experience with Docker and OpenShift
• Proficiency in Linux (Red Hat), including shell scripting and system administration
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, ArgoCD, Tekton/Kino
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal

Nice to have 

• Fluent in Portuguese or French
• XML, XSD, WSDL, WS-*, Java, JSON
• Basic networking knowledge: virtual IPs, firewalls, load balancers
• Understanding of security best practices
• Java JMX and JVM optimization
• Testing tools: SOAPUI, Postman
• Version control: GitHub, Subversion
