Job Summary 

Keyrus is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer / Middleware Integration Specialist with a strong background in backend development and DevOps practices to manage and optimize data flows through our middleware platform. This role focuses on the development, integration, and maintenance of robust, secure, and scalable data transport processes, ensuring seamless communication across systems in a dynamic and remote working environment.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in middleware platforms, backend programming, and infrastructure management, alongside mastery of SQL and experience with protocols such as SFTP, SSH, and HTTP.

This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize workflows for seamless data transport and integration via middleware platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the stability and performance of middleware and backend systems.
• Configure and maintain infrastructure elements to support middleware operations, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.
• Work with protocols like SFTP, SSH, and HTTP, and manage web services to facilitate data flows.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver efficient middleware workflows or backend solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for workflows, processes, and configurations to ensure system maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing data transport processes and system integrations.

Requirements for the role 

• Middleware Expertise: Hands-on experience with middleware platforms such as Talend ESB, MuleSoft, WSO2, Red Hat Fuse, Dell Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, DEX, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in developing and configuring workflows for data transport and processing.
• Extensive experience in Python for backend development and middleware workflow implementation.
• SQL:  Strong ability to query, transform, and integrate data effectively.
• Proficiency in SFTP, SSH, HTTP, and web service protocols.
• Solid understanding of network and server configurations to support middleware operations.
• Fluent in French
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
