Keyrus is looking for a Senior Credit & Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join a project in the international banking context! As part of the team, your role involves advising and implementing the Basel IV framework, focusing on regulatory compliance, internal governance, and controls. Additionally, you will provide essential support for regulatory reports and data quality monitoring. You'll maintain an understanding of the projects' purpose and impacts, ensuring a smooth execution, while also embracing an open mindset to continue to drive effective change management initiatives.

This position is hybrid, based in Lisbon.

How the day by day looks like in this job?

• Develop and implement a new process to implement the BASEL IV framework disclosures for Credit Risk, Securitization and COREP reporting across all risk dimensions;
• Evaluate the impacts on the different risk dimensions according to the new Implementation Technical Standards (ITS);
• Lead essential system developments related to Credit Risk, Securitization and as COREP reporting, ensuring compliance and efficiency;
• Provide support for the initial production exercises;
• Analyze and clarify the key differences between BASEL III and the new BASEL IV regulations; 
• Assist the team on cross-functional activities, including:
  • establishment of controls;
  • support in the creation of the new process framework within the team;
  • contribution to the organization and preparation of Senior Management committees;
  • produce and update internal documentation related to the identified changes, such as permanent documentation, operating procedures, RACI, and control framework, ensuring accurate and current records.

For this specific job we need people with:

• 4 to 5 years of professional experience in Risk/Finance or Audit/Assurance services within banking sector;
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field;
• Knowledge of credit risk concepts – Standard and IRBA approaches;
• Knowledge of the current COREP framework;
• Knowledge of prudential frameworks and standards (Basel III and BASEL IV);
• Experience with MS Office, MS Access, SQL, and Business Objects (nice-to-have).

• Robust analytical and problem solving skills;
• Strong adaptation skills and positive team spirit;
• Ability to work under tight deadlines; 
• Aptitude for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

• Fluent in English
  
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or having a work permit for Portugal
