Project context

Keyrus is looking for a french-speaking QA to join a banking project integrated in the management of repositories to guarantee the Quality Assurance in the refactoring of two applications.

Based in Porto - hybrid position (3 days remote).

How the day by day looks like in this job?

• Close collaboration with our team, mainly Product Owners, Scrum Master, Business Analyst and Developers, understanding product requirements and specifications. 
• Create test strategies and test plans.
• Estimate test effort.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to confirm applications quality according to specifications.
• Prepare test status report and issues status report.
• Review and analyze test results, working closely with Development Team to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support UAT resources/activities.
• Suggest possible solutions to optimize and automatize processes improving our service efficiency and user experience.

For this specific job we need people with:

• Degree in IT Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar disciplines.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Previous experience in both manual and automated testing execution.
• Good communication skills.
• Detail oriented and proactive.
• Strong organizational (methodical), interpersonal (co-operative, constructive and open-minded), problem solving, communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Ability to handle multiple activities and cross-functional projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet goals.
• Able to be quickly autonomous, proactive.
• A real passion for learning, doing things better and helping others, and an ability to turn ideas into realities.
• Team spirit, client-oriented spirit, and good analyzing skills
• Availability to travel abroad for short periods of time, as required.
• Fluent in English
  
• French speaker (minimum B1)
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or having a work permit for Portugal

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with JIRA-XRAY
• Experience API testing (Postman) 
• Experience with SQL
