As a Talend Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using Talend's suite of products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system architects, and business analysts, to understand integration requirements and deliver robust solutions.

What you can expect to do in this role:

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Talend's suite of products, including Talend Data Integration, Talend API Services, and Talend ESB.
• Collaborate with software developers, system architects, and business analysts to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain API services and ESB components using Talend Studio, adhering to best practices and standards.
• Implement data transformations, mappings, and routing logic to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of integration solutions to identify and resolve issues.
• Optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and security.
• Monitor and maintain existing integration solutions, addressing any performance or stability concerns.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of integration projects within budget and scope.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in API services, ESB, and integration technologies, and provide recommendations for improvement.

What we would love you to have?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 2 or 3 years of experience with Talend Data Integration.
• Proven experience working as a Talend Engineer, with a focus in Oracle and SQL Server. 
• Good understanding of integration concepts, standards, and protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.).
• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience working with various databases.
• Control-M is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• You will have to be on-call at night and on weekends (1 week per month).
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in French (wish to have)
• Must be a portuguese citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
