Responsibilities:

Collibra Data Quality:

• Work with Data Governance lead design, implement, and maintain data quality framework, solution blueprint and data cleansing and transformation processes using scripting languages and data integration tools.
• Set up connectors to various source systems (SnowFlake, DB2 Mainframes)
• Participate in the continuous improvement of data quality processes by suggesting enhancements and implementing innovative solutions and data quality rules on Collibra DQ
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data quality standards, policies, and best practices within the Collibra platform.
• Utilize Collibra's tools and technologies to assess data quality and identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and potential issues in client data sets.
• Build data quality dashboards and reports.
• Assist in project planning and estimation and facilitate workshops with stakeholders.
• Document data quality rules, guidelines, and issue resolution procedures within the Collibra platform to facilitate effective data governance.
• Monitor data quality trends and collaborate with data stakeholders to proactively address potential data quality concerns.

Collibra Metadata Catalogue

• Conduct a use case to tool capability mapping with the client.
• Work with Data Governance Led to design the Collibra Data Catalogue Operating model and framework to meet the enterprise requirements: Community structure and asset model.
• Define process maps, knowledge transfer artifacts and training for enterprise roll out of Collibra Data Catalogue.
• Define migration process to move to Collibra as the central metadata management Data Catalogue.
• Lead the roll out and migration to the Collibra data catalogue: Set up metadata connectors, Data Catalogues, Business Glossary and build technical and business lineage.
• Expert in setting up data contracts on Collibra and in technical aspects of setting up a data catalog.
• Knowledge of data profiling, capture and management of CDEs and PII/HIS Data

‌Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience within Data, BI/Analytics and Data Warehousing (ETL Tools & concepts), with your most recent experience around Data Quality (DQ).
• An in-depth knowledge of data governance/data management concepts, approaches, methodologies, and tools.
• Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK is considered as an asset (a CDMP certification is a plus).
• Experience in Collibra Data Catalog, experience in setting up metadata catalogues and configuring Data quality rules/process.
• Strong understanding of data quality concepts, principles, and methodologies.
• Experience with data profiling, validation, transformation, and cleansing techniques.
• Experience building and socializing new data governance TOM – Data Quality and Metadata Management
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, SQL, etc.) for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong time management skills: efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in data management or quality (e.g., Collibra Certified Ranger) are desirable.
• Fluent in English
