We are looking for our new Data Integration Specialist, to join our current Data Migration Team who is responsible for ensuring data from existing source systems are discovered, mapped, checked, validated, and then made available to upstream client systems.

Our team needs to have a worldwide overview of a global project since the streams of work are carried out by geographical location. Therefore, the source data is usually provided by different systems, and these represent data in their own proprietary schemas, however, the target is common to all systems.

Team player is highly needed as each consultant has the collective responsibility for Global delivery over and above their specific locations and will be required to work together on that overarching goal and will act as a facilitator in specific areas.

Main responsibilities:

• You will conduct the End-to-end process, including the business analysis, stakeholder management, data mapping, data migration.
• Bridging business requirements and technical possibilities: you gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements.
• You analyze and identify gaps and dependencies across different workstreams
• You ensure the dataset is accurate and complete and prepare a clear and concise document.
• Able to run meetings and workshops aimed at gaining agreement on requirements and any contentious issues that may come up.
• Make SQL Available to ETL (Talend) and then store SQL in Bitbucket.

Must-have:

• +10 years working as a Data Developer/Data Analyst
• Strong background in financial or Insurance/Broker
• Strong experience in ETL and SQL (including Indexes)
• Able to work autonomously in Navigating Databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Familiarity with Talend ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading).
• Data warehousing and data lakes principles and modeling
• Have previously worked with Data integration in complex projects.
• Problem-solving and solutions-oriented skills.
• Communication ability to talk to different audiences and capable to understand the business needs by putting in place using your technology knowledge/vocabulary.
• Fluent in English (any other European language is a high plus).

Knowledge/Experience in the following is a plus:

• Cloud Technologies (AWS)
• International environment projects
• Transformation projects including process reengineering and operational change management
• Lean Management framework/methodology
• Fluent in English
• Must be a portuguese citizen or have a work permit for Portugal OR
• Must be a spanish citizen or have a work permit for Spain
