As a Azure Cloud Architect at Keyrus, you will be driving the entire development life cycle of a robust analytics solution. You will partner with the business stakeholders to gather requirements and create complex data visualisations that will help solve critical business questions.

As part of this project, you will act as a Cloud Architecture subject matter expert involved in global and complex on-prem to Cloud migrations. Autonomy, creativity, and pro-activity will be essential for the planning, execution, and delivery of this challenge. You will be someone who enjoys working with a team and mentoring others.

Responsibilities;

• Design and help implementing high-volume, high-scale data processing solutions in the cloud.
• Development of Azure cloud architecture and implementation patterns.
• Ensure compliance with industry/technology best practices.
• Gather requirements and communicate with stakeholders on design patterns.

Requirements/Activities:

• Proven background of having worked on large scale workload migrations at the architecture and/or data engineering/technical lead level.
• Understanding of access control, roles and data security management.
• Experience with designing and implementing secure solutions on Microsoft Azure stack.
• Experience with designing and implementing enterprise data hubs on Azure Data Lake (Gen2).
• Experience with the following technologies:
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Data Factory
• Spark/Databricks
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and git workflows is useful to have.
• Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Python preferable) is useful to have.
• You have good presentation and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English
• Must be a portuguese citizen or have a work permit for Portugal OR
• Must be a spanish citizen or have a work permit for Spain
